100 West George Street

100 West George Street is an office building located in central Glasgow. It is arranged over 6 floors, the upper 4 floors are used as office space, the ground floor is split between restaurant and lobby space and a basement below. A measured area survey was required to assist with pre purchase due diligence of the building.

We were instructed to carry out and measured area survey of all floors, to provide Net internal areas. The office space within the building had very heavy fit out, much of which was glass partitioning. This added to the challenge of ensuring accurate floor areas were captured and reported. Using a combination of traditional survey methods and laser scanning technology we were able to complete this survey accurately causing little disruption to the building and its occupants, assisting with the purchase of the property.

We were on site for a total of 1 day and were able to turn the report around quickly to ensure the client had this information in advance of the acquisition going ahead so they could make important decisions before they went ahead with the purchase.
